Squier by Fender Bullet Electric Guitar : I bought one of these for my girlfriend’s son for Xmas a couple years ago. After getting it home and doing a set-up on it, I was so blown away by what a great deal it is, that I’ve since bought two more Bullets for myself, a surf-green one and a cream-white one.

On some Bullets the fret ends can be a little sharp and need to be sanded or filed down. And all Bullets will need a set-up (adjust the truss rod, set the action, etc). But after that, for a little more than $100, you will have a very good guitar in your hands. If you don’t believe me, you can watch videos on youtube that I have posted of me playing stock, unmodified Bullets. Other people have posted videos as well. Just do a youtube search for Squier Bullet.

Lucky Champ Litter Pan : I’ve tried them all Litter Robot, Scoop Free and toilet training my cats, but the Lucky Champ is being brought out again because it is better than all the more expensive automatic boxes in my opinion. It is large, has high sides and the cover is not a solid piece of hard plastic but a material that lets light into the pan. The cover is quite high too which is good, so many covered pans just aren’t high enough. I wish they had more cover choices but this pan is the best.

Graco Ashleigh Classic Convertible Crib : In response to a previous review, the instructions stated to make sure the springs on the mattress support had their prong connectors facing down before putting your mattress on it or it would tear the mattress. So, the people who complained about the crib tearing their mattress simply didn’t follow the instructions. The crib was relatively easy to assemble, with the only problem being that, when attaching the mattress support it was very hard to get tools into the small space to get the bolts tightened. Nothing 5 minutes of being diligent didn’t fix.

Mi Jam Pro Air Drummer : First, let me say that this is NOT a substitute for a real drum — it is also NOT made to hit on surfaces (it is really an air drum). It is unfair to judge it by saying “you can’t learn proper positioning of the drum” and compare it in this fashion to a real drum set. What this WILL do for you is teach you rhythm and coordination, and also help you see if you have a natural aptitude for drums.

Also, probably not the best toy for kids under 10. You have to have your basic coordination ready before trying this. So, again, unfair to say the toy doesn’t capture children, when it is actually not really a toy. It is not designed for children. Older kids and adults, however, would love it. For younger children, I would recommend starting with the Bop It toy, which is awesome teaching basic coordination, endurance and rhythm.

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby’s First Blocks : Like most other young infants, our daughter prefers to pull the top off, dump the blocks out, and chew on everything. She’s 8 mos now, so I figure in a few more months or so she might just start trying to figure it out. She loves it though…so we do too! I actually like the fact that the lid comes off so easily. If it didn’t, she might not play with it at all yet. Afterall, what baby wants to play with something frustrating?

Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar : I bought this guitar yesterday and I must say it is AMAZING… I own a Fender Strato and an Ibanez RG220… all of them are cool, but the Gibson Les Paul Studio is the best of them.. great sound, very light and very comfortable to play. The best of all: Its VERSITALITY. You can play any kind of music with it and it will sound great. The guitar has great acoustic, which enhances sustain and has a very clean and warm sound. When I bought mine it came with a Gig Bag… I would’ve prefered the hard case, but the gig bag is good, so in the end is is a great product.

WORX WG788 Lawn Mower : I have a corded mower before purchasing WORX WG788 Lawn Mower. By comparison, the Worx wins in every respect. It is much quieter than the corded one but cuts just as well if not better than the other. The battery life is excellent. I have a 1/2 acre lot and my lawn is bermuda, and i finished cutting all the grass with some juice to spare. I didn’t give a 5 star because the mulching function is just ok, there were clumps where the grass was overgrown.
